Designed and sampled in Charlotte’s London studio this scarf is woven in the heart of the Welsh woollen industry, on traditional power looms. Back in her studio it is finish with hand twisted pearl fringes.
Woven in 100% merino lambswool this scarf has a gently felted finish that brings out the natural softness of the lambswool making it cosy and warm for winter.
Lambswool is taken as the first sheering of the animal, and being a merino sheep it gives the finest and softest wool. Wool is naturally biodegradable and doesn’t shed microfibres that get into the ecosystem. It is naturally renewable as well as being breathable and gives natural odour control.
