Creative texture on 8 shafts

This workshop is about exploring ways of creating texture in weaving on 8 shafts. 

Working on looms set up with a range of different warps you will try out weave structures and techniques using a variety of yarns to create textures.

You will have a variety of yarns to choose for wefts seeing the different effect that you can achieve.

Learning in a small group of students we will analyse the samples you have woven.

You will take home handouts, your own notes and paperwork together with the samples you have woven.

All materials are included.

This 1 day workshop will run on: 22 July 2023.
