Silk & Merino Scarf - Desert Sands - Aubergine

This medium width scarf is woven by hand in silk and fine merino wool in my studio at Cockpit Arts in London. 

The colours in this scarf are rusty red and maroon with stripes of yellow, sandgold and green ochre in the warp and woven with Auberine coloured merino in the main weft and a boarder in the pattern of Sienna and a stripe of green ochre.

The lengthways stripes are darker and more vibrant on one side of the scarf and softer and muted on the other.

Care Instructions:

Hand wash gently, in warm water with wool wash. Dry flat and reshape whilst damp. Iron on a silk or steam setting.
