Point-Counterpoint Red II

This handwoven artwork is a composition of white and grey squares on a background which is predominantly red. The sequence of squares and the stripes in the weaving form different rhythms depending on the colours. Woven on a silk warp with wool in the weft that create textures within the weave.

This composition is one of a pair. They can be sold individually or as a pair.

Stretched over a deep 4 cm canvas the squares appear also on the sides of the piece.
The piece is signed on the back and has D-rings for hanging directly on the wall.
